　人気サッカーゲーム「ウイニングイレブン」シリーズの最新作「ウイニングイレブン2013」（コナミデジタルエンタテインメント）がPS3向けに発売される。日本代表で背番号10を背負う香川真司選手がイメージキャラクターだ。

　シリーズでおなじみの「フットボールライフ」では、新たにアイテムを利用できるようになった。試合の報酬などで得られるポイントと引き替えに、ゲーム内のショップで入手できる。選手の顔や能力に加えて、スター選手に固有の動きも再現。レアル・マドリードのクリスチアーノ・ロナウド選手など、「あの選手のあのプレー」がゲームで楽しめる。

　大会やエキシビジョンマッチが楽しめる「UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE」モードでは、大会テーマソングや試合開始前の演出、入場シーン、大会公式ボール、スタジアム内の看板にいたるまで再現した。さまざまなルールで大会を設定し、頂点をめざす「コンペティション」モードでは、オンライン・オフライン双方に対応。遠隔地の友達とも楽しめる。

　サッカーゲーム初心者向けに、「トレーニング」モードも充実。フリートレーニングに加えて、さまざまなテクニックを段階的に学ぶステップアップチュートリアルも盛り込んだ。プレイステーションストアで体験版も配信中だ。
